What to build

Shots always have a length H3 can make. See User Stories 73–77 and 143.

Acceptance criteria

  • A Shot's length is derived from its Lines (text estimate for now) plus head and tail handles; an override is clamped to 2–15 s
  • Lengths round up to H3's frame grid (5 + 17k frames, max 362), and the extra frames become tail handle
  • Queuing past 15 s is blocked, with an offered split at a Line boundary into numbered Shots (12B·1, 12B·2) in the same Setup; existing Takes stay on the first part
  • A single Line or dual-dialogue group longer than 15 s blocks with a clear message
  • A per-Shot aspect ratio override sets the Shot's effective ratio
  • Tests cover length rounding, clamping, the split helper and the blocking messages
