What to build

The filmmaker can turn the MCP server on and connect a harness to it without hand-editing anything.

  • App settings gains an MCP page: the on/off toggle, the port, the URL and the token, a button to regenerate the token, and a "copy client configuration" button whose snippet includes a claude mcp add command line.
  • When the port can't be bound, the page says so.
  • The status bar shows a small MCP indicator while the server is on, and whether a client session is active.

Acceptance criteria

  • The toggle, port, URL, token, regenerate and copy buttons work in the running app (checked with the run-ai-studio skill)
  • A port already in use shows a clear error on the page
  • Regenerating the token refuses a harness that uses the old one
  • The status bar indicator appears when the server is on and shows when a client is connected
